“This charming and unusual stay could not have been more comfortable. Truth be told after reading some reviews I had my doubts. The staff was delightful. The room was beautiful. The back garden provided a wonderful spot for a late night glass of wine. We stayed during the Division Street Festival, unbeknown to us, so the street side room was kind of noisy. Bucktown and Wicker Park otherwise have very few places to stay - 3 other B&B's, none of which look as nice as Ruby Room, but, to be fair, I have not stayed at the others. “Ruby Room is funky and unusual but we loved our stay and will definitely book again on our next trip to Chicago to visit family. Well located, not too difficult to find parking on the side streets, great breakfast places across the street (especially recommend Milk & Honey), Wicker Park Fitness gym a few doors down (day pass available). Ruby Room is exactly as it is advertised: clean, spacious room, REALLY comfortable bed and upscale bathroom, lovely patio in the back of the building.
